A home where exploration meets belonging.
Kin Coliving is a thoughtfully designed home in Salvador, Bahia for locals and foreigners in the African Diaspora to connect through language, culture and community.

Kelsia
🌍 Meet Kelsia, Founder of Kin I’m Kelsia, a native New Yorker 🗽 who spent five years traveling the world 🌎 in search of a place to call home. Along the way, I realized that home isn’t always somewhere you find — sometimes, it’s somewhere you create. 🌱 So I decided to build the kind of community I had been searching for: one rooted in connection, culture, and belonging, with a special focus on the African diaspora. 🤎🌍 That’s how Kin was born, a community where people can connect, learn, explore, and feel at home, wherever they are. ✨
Our Mission
Kin Coliving supports travelers, digital nomads, expats, relocation-curious individuals, and local members of the African diaspora as they explore life in Salvador, Brazil. We help our members discover whether Salvador aligns with their vision for the future by being their chosen community, creating connection, belonging, collaboration, and mutual support while living abroad
Our Vision
A global network of thoughfuly designed Coliving homes and community hubs across the African diaspora. - Salvador is just the beginning.

"Everyone Contributes."
As a chosen community, we encourage our members to share their time, skills, talents, ideas, and energy, not simply take from the community, but help shape it. We believe that when everyone contributes, everyone has the opportunity to feel a deeper sense of connection and belonging.
